What is Branding Photography?
Branding photography is a strategic, story-driven approach to professional imagery. We capture a collection of images that reflect your personality, style and expertise. These photos are designed to boost your brand across websites, publications, and social media with a cohesive feel. I know it sounds overwhelming but trust me, we have a blast!
We will capture a combination of headshots, professional portraits and incidental images that match your brand aesthetic. These sessions feature your wardrobe, environment, movement, and expressions to create images that you will be proud to share.

Posing & Expression Coaching
Please do not think that you need to be experienced in front of the camera to get great results. We will walk you through expressions, flattering angles and posing throughout your guided branding session. You ARE photogenic with the right person behind the camera.
Professional Lighting
While natural light is often the desired look, it’s rarely what we have to work with – especially when shooting indoors. A beautiful location is not beautiful in photos if the lighting is unflattering, which is often the result when relying only on natural light. I will always bring along a full lighting set up to ensure the best results.
Fully Retouched Images
I whole heartedly believe that these photos should look like you. However, they should look like the BEST version of you. All of your images (oh yes, even the proofs!) will be professionally retouched before you ever see them.

Every customized branding shoot will look a little different.
If you’re in need of photos for website headers, email campaigns, or online ads, we’ll talk through what those launches will look like and come up with a collection of material that will compliment your message and stand out from the over saturated landscape of social media. You’ll leave with a thorough collection of photos suited for use across the platforms you intend to utilize.
We will start with an in depth questionnaire and some brainstorming. Make a list of shots you need, and collect a gallery of online inspiration. When we arrive at the shoot, we will go through outfits and come up with a gameplan. We will capture a combination of headshots, professional portraits and incidental images that match your brand aesthetic. These sessions feature your wardrobe, environment, movement, and expressions to create images that you will be proud to share.
