coat drive for note in the pocket raleigh photo sessionsThis year we are thrilled to be collecting winter items for Note in the Pocket during all of our studio sessions so clients, please bring any gently used coats or other cold weather items and we will deliver them to this fantastic organization that provides clothing to impoverished and homeless children and their families throughout Wake County.

If you haven’t heard of this group it’s pretty amazing – not only do they collect clothing for kids of all ages (including teens, so adult sized coats are welcome!) but volunteers sort the items by size, put matching items together and deliver clothing packages containing two weeks of outfits to these children in need. How amazing is that! All items are welcome but their immediate needs are Boys Coats sizes 14 – 18, Men’s Coats size small (for teenagers), Boys long sleeve graphic t shirts sizes 8-14, Girls long sleeve graphic t shirts sizes 12 and 16.

Note in the Pocket believes it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school and the need is even more real during the cold weather months. Read more about them here: http://www.noteinthepocket.org.
