It’s azalea season in North Carolina! We spent the morning at WRAL property dodging many (many!) others touring the gorgeous garden. These sweet girls were a blast to work with and were patient with us as we worked around crowds and mid day sun. But the flowers were blooming and the day was just gorgeous!

So this is a little girl I know well and love very much 🙂 She is about to be 5 whole years old. Five is an age I don’t alway see very often for sessions but it a huge age to capture. This is just before they start “real” school, start losing those sweet baby…

So, this Mom is a photographer that has lots of photos of her sweet girls. What she is lacking is what so many Mom’s are lacking – photos of themselves with their sweet kids. I think it’s easy to find a million reasons why we don’t want to be in photos and forget that years…
It’s time for baby boy blue…but no Carolina blue for this family! 😉
