Sweet little guy – he was in the danger zone for photography (that age between newborn and sitting where sessions can be … interesting) but was a rockstar!

Do I need to point out how GORGEOUS these girls are? No? How about I point out that it was somewhere around 35 degrees when we shot these. I wasn’t sure we could pull it off but they proved me wrong!
We had such a morning and let me tell you – it was COLD! She was completely fearless as I shivered in my Northface. Love it!
The holidays are over and gifts have been given so no surprises for me to ruin – finally I can SHARE! I look forward to giving you a peek into my fall – we were busy!
Oh sweet little one, a complete angel for me. How pretty is he?!
You see written again and again that newborn portraits are best within the first two weeks of life. And in general, this is a very good rule of thumb. Then, you have sessions like this one…4 weeks old and an absolute photographers dream!
I really should do a collection of “then and now” posts – maybe I will add that to my list for free time – sometimes in February??
Sometimes little ones just have an…off day. sometimes we ALL do but the little guys just don’t know how to fake it quiet yet 🙂 But I always tell clients not to leave a session feeling discouraged because even if it felt like a mess, the results will almost always surprise you!
Another family that I had the opportunity to watch grow from one little one to two not so little ones!
