Sneak Peek! | Raleigh Family Portraits

Wet, overcast, cold - sometimes the session just has to go on despite less than perfect conditions so you make the best of it by say, wearing your rain coat!  The weather did cooperate (and by cooperate I mean it didn’t pour on us) and we were able to get great photos of several generations.  I will include a few photos of the newest generation!

Sneak Peek! | Durham Family Photographer

Another sweet 6 month old to share, I just love this age!  It was a chilly morning but the light was just beautiful, none of this October gray we have gotten to know so well.  I know we wore him out but it was worth it Mom and Dad, the proofs look great!

Sneak Peek | Durham Baby Portraits

Oh I have a sweetie to share with you!  This was another very “busy” session with many interested park guests stopping by to see the adorable baby - and can you blame them!?  And it was also a first for me when someone asked me to take a picture of their family with their camera while I was in the middle of a session.  Say what you will about North Carolinians, we are a friendly bunch!  But was a good sport and tolerated all the new friends he made and my camera and me quite well, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Sneak Peek! | Raleigh Children’s Portraits

This little girl was such a pleasure to work with!  Absolutely gorgeous and once we broke through the fake camera  smiles that often appears around ages 4-5 we really captured her true essence.  I love working this age!

Sneak Peek, finally! | Hillsborough, NC Newborn Photographer

This little guy was born at over 11lbs and even more impressive, he was born naturally at home.  I had to include a shot of him in Mom’s arms for you - she is adorable and tiny and pretty much super mom as far as I am concerned!  He was very alert and wanted to party more than be photographed, but after some snuggling and a couple of snacks we got him where we wanted him!  He’s gorgeous, Mom!

Last call for Friday’s mini sessions!

I have one remaining slot for the October 23rd minis, please send me a note if you are interested!

Sneak Peek! | Raleigh Family Photographer

So I think this session may go down as the most interrupted session ever.  It was a (rare) warm and dry Saturday morning and it would seem that most of Raleigh joined us at the park and needed to be right.where.we.were.  What I thought was an access road for park rangers turned out to be a drag racing track for teenagers and the trail we chose was also the choice of the largest group of runners I have ever seen.  And of course with three little boys this cute many people just had to just stop and chat with us.  By the time we finally wrapped up I couldn’t remember what we had shot first and it was really a case of “make it work”.  But I’d say we did!  Thank you so much for your patience R family!
