Sneak Peek! | Child portraits in Cary

We have had our fair share of less than ideal weather this October and this session happened to be on one of those days.  It was gray, windy and quite chilly but this little one sparkles despite the gloomy weather!  She was an absolute doll and full of spunk and personality.  We had the most fun playing and looking back through her images I can see her little spirit shining through.  And hey, she has great hair to boot!

Mini sessions were a success!

Hey, some hurricane force winds can’t stop us!  We had a sunny day but boy was it chilly when the winds would kick up.  The kids (and parents!) were fabulous and tolerated less than ideal conditions to get some great shots.  It is a very different experience for me (since my sessions are really geared towards getting to know my clients well and connecting with the kiddos) but I really enjoy myself with these quick paced sessions.  And parents, check back here for a sneak peek of your mini soon!

I haven’t nailed down a November mini session event yet, but please send me an email if you are interested in being notified if we do find a free day to work one in!

Sneak Peek! | Sweet siblings at a park

Oh I know Mom is waiting for these and boy oh boy do I have alot to share of these sweeties! We had such a fun morning and the weather could not have been any more perfect. It was a great day and I love all the images!

Business Spotlight - Brunk and Laster Orthodontics

I am a little behind with my business spotlights as the holiday photo extravaganza has set in but I have a few lined up to share and as always if you have a local business you would like to have spotlighted, please send me a note.

Name: W. Stewart Laster DDS, MS

A little about you and your family: I am originally from Norfolk, Va. My wife Christine and I have been married for 7 years. We met in dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill while working together on a mission project to benefit orphans in Mexico. We have 2 daughters Catie (5) and Caroline (3)

A little about your business: I finished dental school at UNC in 2001 and Orthodontic Residency in 2004. Since finishing residency I have been working for Brunk and Laster Orthodontics with Raleigh and Zebulon offices. We strive to create beautiful smiles for all our patients and provide an exceptional experience to our patients as well.

How would you describe yourself? I am a perfectionist. When I take on an orthodontic case I want to achieve the best possible result, but do it in a way that caters to the patients specific needs. I pay extra careful attention to facial aesthetics and how it is affected by tooth position. Nothing makes me more excited than taking off a set of braces on a patient who is thrilled with their new smile

What are your most and least favorite things about owning a small business? While I love being an orthodontist owning a small business is not without its stresses of having to manage a staff and pay all the bills. If I could focus all my time on straightening teeth rather than running the business I probably would.

Share some of your favorite things: I love athletics and am an avid runner. I have completed 2 marathons and several half marathons. I also play soccer, snow ski, and love to travel, read, and cook.

Do you have any special causes you’re passionate about and would like to share? My favorite causes are mission trips to third world countries. I participated in a trip to Africa last year through Mission to the World and hope to do another dental mission in the near future

Where can we find your business? My practice is located at 7700 Falls of the Neuse Road, Suite 190 Raleigh, NC 27615 - (919) 676-0541 - brunkandlaster.com

And lastly, any specials or promotions for Season Moore Photography blog readers? We offer free consultation, digital photograph, xrays, and study models to all readers. We also offer zero down payment and flexible financing offers to readers of this blog.

Sneak peek | Brothers in Raleigh

I will share a little secret here…pre-teen boys don’t always like having their portraits made.  Shocking, I know, but sometimes they have things they’d rather be doing than hanging out with me.  But these two were so much fun and completely patient with me and all of my ideas and I learned some Wii tips to boot.   It may not be their ideal way to spend a morning, but in the end the results speak for themselves!

Session update

Just a quickie update - full sessions:  The only remaining sessions for the year are newborn sessions - there are no remaining child or family sessions for 2008.  I am thrilled and so thankful for being booked but you all know how much I hate ever having to ever say no to a session!  But there is just no more time, literally to squeeze anyone else in.  If you are expecting I will take two more newborns for December, so please contact me asap! I do have a waiting list, so contact me if you would like to be added.

Mini Sessions - there is one remaining mini session for next Tuesday’s minis.  I am unsure if there will be a November set of minis but I do have an interest list so shoot me an email if you like to be informed of any other mini session events.  Thank you all for keeping me so busy!

Sneak Peek! Family portraits in Raleigh

It’s past due for a peek!  I had a minor computer glitch that required an ordered part and put me behind schedule but I am back on track and have some peeks to share!  Fall is here and the color is getting lovelier by the day, it’s every photographer’s dream!  And this family fit right in, adorable and so much fun!
