Sneak Peek!

You have seen this little cutie on my site before, starting as a perfectly beautiful (bald!) newborn.  Imagine my surprise when I arrived to see a full head of blond and an on the go toddler!  In my mind these babies stay the same size as my photos so when I see them growing up it always comes as a little bit of a shock, even though the rational side of my knows that time is marching on.   He has hit that wonderfully active stage where they could just care less about me and my games, but the results are gorgeous nonetheless!

The first of many peeks to come, this little guy was so good to me and slept soundly through most of the session. I am going to miss using the hot summer days to get newborns good and sleepy!

Home again!

I am back in the states and working on getting my time zones straight again - good grief! If you had emailed or called in the last week+ you should have gotten a reply from me already. If not, please send me another contact me again. Other than a minute here or there I wasn’t online for more than a week so you can just imagine the mass of messages waiting for me. I always fear real emails being inadvertently missed in the crowd!

Another important note, as of today I am fully booked through the end of the year for regular sessions. THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your holidays, it will be a crazy few months but wonderful too! If you are expecting and due in November or December please contact me asap to get on the calendar. Both months are extremely limited at this time. Spots can become available so send me a note if you would like to be on the wait list (also, if you have booked in the last few days but not paid your session fee please do so soon to confirm your time). I am also still hoping to work in a mini session event.

And I am just backlogged with sneak peeks to share! If you are waiting on proofs, I am working as late as my little eyes will let me to get those to you. Orders are also being processed and/or packaged and those here will be going out soon. Thank you all for your patience! My husband and I had a wonderful get away together (and quite an adventure to boot) but I am looking forward to getting back in the swing of things!

Sneak peek!

So before my peek I’ll update on the state of life here in Seasonland…it’s CRAZY!  Somehow August ended up being a much busier month than I anticipated.  No one to blame but myself and my overbooking (have I mentioned my problem saying no?) but it rolled into a September where my husband traveled, then I traveled for a funeral, and now WE travel (alone.  just us.  no, really.  can you believe it?)  Tomorrow we leave for Germany so I will be fairly UNplugged in without my computers or blackberry.  Emails will be returned when I am home again, and the sessions waiting to be proofed will go online after.  I wish I had been able to get more done this last week, but being with family at the time of loss was just too important to miss so that grace and patience I asked for a few post ago I still request!  Through some deep breathing exercises I will try and convince myself that it will be ok and my clients are awesome and loving and even a little forgiving - right?!  :-)

Availability: September is booked, and November is booked through my holiday deadline.  In October weekends are booked and remaining weekdays are: October 2, 7, 28, and 30th.  That’s it!  Oh my!

Ok, back to the sweet newborn goodness.  She is beautiful this one.  She was good to me too!

Home again (for now!)

I made it through four crowded flights in 24 hours and long, looong, layovers but I am home again and hey, it’s my birthday so I’m giving away stuff I like!  I used the random number generator to choose from comments left on the blog and the winners are……..

Out of the office

I hate to post so soon after posting some cuties (so be sure to pop on down there and show them some love :-) but I have had a death in the family and will be flying out of Raleigh for the funeral on Tuesday.   To make matters more complicated my husband and I are leaving for Germany a week from today so this week was supposed to be a  rush rush rush to get orders out and sessions proofed but this has definitely thrown a kink into things.  I hate nothing more than to ever let a client down or make them wait on me but I would appreciate all the grace and patience you can extend over the next few weeks.   I will do absolutely everything in my power to keep from falling too far behind.

And somehow in the mix of this crazy week I have to find time to turn 30 :-)  Yes, I have a birthday sliding in under all the chaos.  And I didn’t forget the giveaway, I will do that too when I can.  Thanks in advance for your patience!
