Another family of five, I have had so many of those lately! I love the dynamic of the family - I grew up as the only girl with two brothers so three feels just right to me. Of course I only have two myself - but two pregnancies sounded better than three to me Anyway, on to the photos! I thought we might be in for trouble when the little, little brother stepped right into one nasty fish pond within minutes of arrival but with some coaxing and Season tricks we got him out of Daddy’s arms and into my lens. We had great fun and the weather was prefect!

One of the best part of my jobs is meeting incredible families and getting to know them in the hours we spend together.  I’m a bit of a talker (shocker for those that have met me!) so I truly feel like I have left sessions with friends and not just clients.  This week I met a sweet Momma and her two (well, three) boys.  This family has been through an incredibly difficult few months including a terrible car accent when the youngest was just 13 days old.  One of those reminders of just how precious our family and loved ones are and how instantly everything that we know as “normal” can change.   But they are healing and doing  amazingly well all things considered.   I am so glad I had the chance to spend the morning with you guys!

Just a reminder that I will be closing up shop June 1-15th. I have promised my family unterrupted Mommy time so emails and voicemails will be returned the week of June 16th. Orders placed through the long weekend will be processed before I leave, anything ordered after that time will be processed the week of the 16th as well.

I have one remaining June date available, Thursday June 26th. July has a few remaining dates after the 14th.

I know posted just days ago with a prayer request but I feel compelled to do so again. Please pray for Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. I just read that one of his sons was pulling into their driveway this evening and did not see his sister (5 year old Maria, adopted from China) in front of him. She was struck by the car and killed. I just can not even begin to comprehend the pain.

We have had the pleasure of meeting Steven and his beautiful family and my heart is hurting for them.

Oh my goodness, I am just swamped here and the peeks are suffering!  In addition to the normal spring session madness, this is my kid’s last week of school and all the fun that goes with it.  I have been running from session to picnic to field day to yearbook signing to proofing (a quick period of sleep) and repeat.  It’s fun - but exhausting!  I think I am exhausted for the summer as they are - I love it!

Ok - on to the good stuff.  Three kiddos under 5 - a busy group on a crowded Saturday at the garden, but we had a blast.  The weather was perfect and boy did we ever explore!

I have had one single, solitary date open in June: June 26th at 9:30 a.m. My next available date is mid July so if you’re in need of a June session please let me know!
