Beavercreek Greenway, Apex Family Photos

The Beavercreek Greenway runs right behind this family’s home so it was the perfect place for their fall family photos!

The 2021 fall foliage was less than thrilling so we did a good bit of hiking to find the perfect spots for fall color and perfect sun set lighting. Three teenagers can mean a less than enthusiastic crew but they were so much fun to work with. They tolerated our little walk, outfit changes and having to hug their siblings more than once.

Raleigh fall color tends to peak around the first or second week of November which can also mean cold temperatures. Once the leaves have mostly fallen you get more brown and less light diffusion which can mean a less photogenic background until spring arrives. It’s best to have your outdoor photos done in October or early November for the best results.
