Cousins in Raleigh | Extended Family Portraits
It felt right to share some precious cousins on the blog today. I had a hard time making yesterday a productive afternoon. The day started great with a headshot and marketing photo shoot for Gladwell Orthodontics at Lafayette Village on a really beautiful fall morning but being a busy morning I hadn’t checked my phone or watched the news. A person’s hate has hurt and killed so many (again) and it’s heartbreaking and discouraging and frankly just makes me want to crawl in a hole and hide. But of course we don’t hide, we don’t give in or let hate win and we definitely don’t crawl in a hole to hide (even when it seems like the bad news comes every.single.day.). We get up the next day, we hug our family (and I hug a client or two!) and we do it all over again. And I’m lucky enough to have a little joy and beauty to share.
These precious little cousins came with their very fun and very amazing grandparents for a photo session. I met the big brothers a few years ago and now it was the girl’s turn and we ring around the rosie until we couldn’t ring around anymore!
