It’s time to schedule your summer portrait session, Raleigh!
Here we are again folks, another gorgeous North Carolina summer is upon us and it’s prime photo session season! I think we can all admit we look our best with a touch of sun and the glow that comes with NO HOMEWORK for a brief moment in time. I’m practically giddy just thinking about it! We are now scheduling summer full, half and mini sessions but keep in mind that the summer calendar will be more limited than usual as I plan for some time off with my own kids over the next few months. If you have school aged kids now is the time to plan for annual portraits and holiday card photos so you aren’t left scrambling in the fall. (Plan ahead to work around your school track and vacation plans – updated calendar is here!).
Summer Mini Sessions are on the calendar (including Memorial Day!). May 29, June 2, June 14, and July 18 are mini session event dates. Additional days may be added with demand so let me know if these dates do not work for your family. Mini sessions are scheduled back to back at a single location. If this scheduling isn’t ideal for your needs we also offer half and full sessions that will allow for flexible dates at several Raleigh – Durham locations, longer session times and more images to choose from.
But it’s too HOT for outdoor photos during the summer! Yes, we get hot, hot, hot in the summer time! Plan for morning sessions (or evening for older kids) to beat the heat of the day. We stick to the shade and locations that don’t require too much walking to keep your family as calm, cool and collected as possible. Hydration and planning are key!
The air conditioned, mosquito free studio is always available. If you do find that your little ones (or you!) would do better in a temperature controlled environment our contemporary Raleigh studio is available for child or headshot mini sessions at your request.
