So glad to meet this precious little girl and her sweet Mama, and the weather cooperated! (Sort of). It was cold but not freeze your honey off cold like we have had consistently since October. But the threat of cold rain really keeps the crowds away at Duke Gardens… Look at the eyes on this little babe – a little living baby doll!
Yes you guessed it, she’s freezing! And I mean freezing, literally shivering when started our mini session. As time we on and the wind died down she started to warm up – warm up in general and warm up to me!
We had such a morning and let me tell you – it was COLD! She was completely fearless as I shivered in my Northface. Love it!
This is from today so I haven’t even started the proofing process but I know this is a shot mom wanted so badly, so I had to break my rules and peek out of order. Dad, I do hope you have recovered from your strenuous morning of controlling the weather 🙂 He even was injured…
Well this peek was supposed to be up before I left town for the Thanksgiving holiday but it didn’t happen – so sorry Mom! This little sweetie slept like an angel for me and was as gorgeous as possible. This session took place in Morrisville, North Carolina which is just a quick drive from Raleigh….

Her eyes ARE stunning. But I love love love the first photograph and how proud she looks of her new teeth. Perfect capture of a new milestone. It would be awesome to have a similar shot when she is older and is missing those 2 front teeth.
