Whether it’s moving from high school to college or from college to the “real world”, these photos will be seen by more people than any other photos you take. They are a fun, once in a lifetime experience for you to look and feel beautiful and show off your own unique style and personality. Senior portraits capture a moment in time that is special to everyone who knows you – parents, grandparents, and friends and family. Having a variety of posed and candid, fun shots that show off your true personality will give you just what you need for announcements, gifts an social media sharing.
We want you to feel comfortable and exude confidence as we create these images together. You have the option of scheduling a hair and makeup appointment with one of our stylists for the ultimate in pampering and the best results from your shoot. The shoot location is chosen by the look and feel you love. Our planning guide will walk you through outfits and help you prep for your big day. We offer a shorter half session for those that want a simple shoot, and a full session for those that want a little more glamour!

Worried about being in front of the camera and posing? No worries! I’ll demonstrate and show you every pose. We will have a blast, laugh alot and be sad when it’s over. Let’s do this thing!

Senior sessions are once in a lifetime. Make it count!
What’s your style? Are you classic, fashion forward, trendy, vintage, boho, preppy, urban, or sporty? None of the above? No worries, we are here to help! Wardrobe has a big impact on your senior portrait results, and not only do we want your outfits to reflect your own style and personality, but we also want them to photograph great. We’ll provide suggestions to help elevate your outfits.
Shoots happen in the morning or evening, Monday – Thursday. It’s just too crowded in scenic areas on weekends and Friday nights. I made this decision after countless sessions where events or crowding disrupted our session and impacted our results. Missing a few hours of school your senior year is worth it for these photos – there is nothing worse than posing in front of an audience! If missing school is not an option, plan for a summer session.

I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS.
I wan to know what kind of person the senior is, if they have hobbies, sports, or interests that they carried through high school. What do they love, where are they happiest. I incorporate their personality and their interests and talents into the photos.
No two sessions are the same and you don’t have to fit any mold to be perfect.
In addition to taking amazing photos of you, I also want you to have a memorable experience. Together, we will create a session that is specifically tailored to you, your style and your loves. You will feel like the star that you are.

There is nothing like the excitement of a fresh new start ahead of you. Equal parts nerves and ready-to-take-on-the-world, there will never be another time like it. It is truly such a special milestone in a young adult’s life and senior portraits capture the end of an era and beginning of a new chapter in your life.
Some people love to be in front of the camera, others…not so much. I GET IT! And trust me, wherever you fall on that spectrum we will have a blast. I will walk you through posing, and help you feel comfortable in your own beautiful skin.

BRING PROPS
I love using props in photos! Particularly those that are an important part of who you are. They can enhance a photo, give you “something to do with your hands”, and give it more of a story. You’ll be looking at these pictures in ten or twenty years and remembering how you looked and felt then. Do you love coffee? Play a sport? Have a puppy? If you are not sure what works, bring on along several items and we will decide before your shoot. My client PDF will give you tons of ideas.
MAKEUP & HAIR
I highly recommend a professional to get you photo ready!Having a professional makeup artist get you camera ready is the easiest way to ensure great results. We have all had makeup fails, it happens, you just don’t want it to happen on this important day!
CHOOSING A LOCATION
One of the most important aspects of organizing any photo shoot is selecting the location for your session. Consider the look you love, your personality, your hobbies, or spots that have sentimental value. What background looks best with your clothing style? Popular spots are natural, garden, country/rustic, your school or sports arena, urban/downtown, shopping areas, museums, your favorite coffee shop, etc. Some locations may work better in morning or evening, I have suggestions if you need ideas!
