Sessions are relaxed and fun. Children laugh and play and Season plays right along with them. A typical session lasts between an hour to two hours depending on the time needed to capture a variety of shots. She allows time for breaks as needed and clothing changes. As a mother she understands how important a relaxed atmosphere is for kids (and parents!) so you will never be rushed or pressured.

Season prefers to use natural light so outdoor sessions will be scheduled in the morning at the location of your choice. Indoor sessions can take place in your home if adequate light is available (lighting can be provided if this is an issue, please notify Season when booking your session). The process will begin with a phone consultation to discuss location, details of the session, clothing choices, and answer any questions you may have.

– newborn sessions –

Newborn sessions take place in the first two weeks of life, with days 3-4 being most ideal. Contact Season early in your pregnancy so she can reserve time in the weeks around your due date. These sessions will take place in your home so an area of natural light is preferred.

– the proofs –

Within two weeks of your session you will receive a link to a private online proofing album containing 20 or more proofs. The album will remain online for 7 days. During this time you are welcome to send the link to family and friends. After the 7 day proofing period images will be removed from the website so it is recommended that you make your purchasing decisions within this time frame. If more time is needed there will be a fee to re-publish the album.

– the order –

Your order will be sent to your home via UPS or USPS. Prints are generally received within 3 weeks. Canvases, coffee table books and other specialty items will take 6 weeks or longer, depending on the order.

At the time of booking, you will be mailed an information booklet with all you need to know to prepare for your session. Session fee must be paid in advance to reserve your date.
