I will have a few more blog giveaways before the end of the year and I am going to be giving away gift certificates to local (North Carolina) businesses. It’s so important to support local businesses (and please leave me a comment with the names of businesses you love so I can get them featured on the blog too!) and I want to do my part to help!  Some of the business I choose do sell nationally so you can still play even if you don’t live here in town.

Just a quickie update - full sessions:  The only remaining sessions for the year are newborn sessions - there are no remaining child or family sessions for 2008.  I am thrilled and so thankful for being booked but you all know how much I hate ever having to ever say no to a session!  But there is just no more time, literally to squeeze anyone else in.  If you are expecting I will take two more newborns for December, so please contact me asap! I do have a waiting list, so contact me if you would like to be added.

Mini Sessions - there is one remaining mini session for next Tuesday’s minis.  I am unsure if there will be a November set of minis but I do have an interest list so shoot me an email if you like to be informed of any other mini session events.  Thank you all for keeping me so busy!

I am so thrilled to be able to offer at least one mini session this fall and finally the details are here! It is a little different than last year’s mini so be sure to read the details. And this year, it’s open to ANYONE, not just returning clients! And you’re not limited to holiday card photos, I would never turn down a kiddo in an adorable Halloween costume… Details:

October Mini Session - $50
Tuesday, October 28th (Rain date of Wednesday October 29th) at a Raleigh park

Session Includes:
- 20 minute session for up to 2 children or one immediate family
- 5-10 images presented in a private online gallery
- Three day online ordering period and custom product design

All Season Moore Photography products will be available for purchase, including holiday cards. There will be a brag book album available as well. Sessions will be booked back to back so if you are late, you will only have the remaining time to complete your session. The session fee is non refundable and can only be rescheduled for the next mini session date, which may not be before the holidays. So please be sure both dates work for you!

Due to the time restrictions on these minis we will focus on a particular shot - family shots, individuals of two children or less, sibling shots, etc. If we have time after we have gotten that shot, we will try for others. Mini sessions are not suitable for babies that are not able to sit unassisted or those looking for a variety of poses or multiple backgrounds or outfits. Mini sessions are suitable for those that have already had a full session but need just a few shots for holiday gifts or for capturing a special time in your child’s life (First lost tooth? Favorite dress up outfit? Just because they are so darn cute today?)

I know posted just days ago with a prayer request but I feel compelled to do so again. Please pray for Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. I just read that one of his sons was pulling into their driveway this evening and did not see his sister (5 year old Maria, adopted from China) in front of him. She was struck by the car and killed. I just can not even begin to comprehend the pain.

We have had the pleasure of meeting Steven and his beautiful family and my heart is hurting for them.
