A new year, a sale!

Welcome to 2009!  This holiday has just been so amazing - after many, many days of long hours to have time to just relax and love on my family was what I needed.  I feel completely ready to tackle a new year with all the big things to come for Season Moore Photography.  I love this feeling of all things fresh and new!

So, on to that sale - all fine art canvas is 20% for the months of January and February.  These are hugely popular (and if you have seen one you know why!) and session space is limited so contact me soon if you want to get in soon (January has 3 remaining sessions spots, and February has 5 dates remaining).  Below is one of my personal canvases, love them!

Something else I am working on is getting the Season Moore Photography Facebook page up and running - add me as a friend and I will try to upload some of your photos for you to share with Facebook!

I am officially back in the office next week - I look forward to a whole new year together!

Ok, one more post this year

I know I’m “closed” but I just had to sneak in tell you to refresh on my homepage and blog to see some adorable new art work from Lisa Reichman!  And thank you so much for the love on the slideshow!

2008 Slide Show | Raleigh Photographer, Season Moore

The time has come to close up shop and celebrate this precious time of year with family and friends. Emails will be checked so if you’re expecting or have other urgent issues they will be responded to when possible. All other messages will be replied to when the office reopens on January 5, 2009.

It’s also time to share my end of year slide show! The last few year’s have been a hit and it’s a walk down memory lane for me. It always starts with me collecting my favorite few hundred images, realizing that the slide show will need to be an hour long to accommodate that many images, and painfully narrowing it down to a reasonable number. I can’t begin to share every session with you, but it’s a small taste of the many sweet faces I have been fortunate enough to photograph this year.

Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I’ll see you again in 2009.

Sneak Peek! | Chapel Hill Newborn Photography

One last peek before closing for a Christmas break.  She’s not my last newborn of the year (a few left to be born yet!) but one of the many I have had the honor of meeting this year.  She tried to be a party animal and stay awake through the session but she finally gave in and gave a good long sleep to work with.  Such a sweetie!

9 days, 15 hours and 13 minutes until Christmas folks.  Yeah, 9 days!!  Phew, we are off to the races and every year I say it but this year it seem more true than ever.  How are we almost at Christmas?!  The final orders are being wrapped up and most of my last projects have been completed and I even have my shopping almost done completed.  I may have lost sleep this season but we did it, and survived another holiday rush!  I am thankful for everyone that made my rush a rush - I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I have a peek of a post holiday session that I know Mom is waiting for.  It was a chilly day and this poor little guy turned out to have a double ear infection that day but despite it all, he was as cute as can be!

A blog winner!

Where oh where have I been?!  This time of year is just true crunch time for photographers - order have to get in and out in record speed so people can mail their holiday cards.  Most days are 12 hours work days and in the end, I am tiiiiired and I miss my family!  But we’re getting close to wrapping up here, just a few projects left to go this week and hopefully soon I will get to slow down and focus on this amazing season and the people that mean the very most to me.  My office will close on December 19th and will not reopen until January 5th.  There are very limited openings in January so if you are hoping to get an early 2009 session please contact me asap!

Now, for the giveaways - I did promise a massage, right?  How could I hold out on you??  The random number generator gave me number 36 which happens to be…

Amy Amos!

Woohoo Amy, go get some holiday stress relief on me!  Email me your current address and you will receive your gift certificate to White Dahlia.  I know you will love it, and boy could I stand to join you right about now!

Well this peek was supposed to be up before I left town for the Thanksgiving holiday but it didn’t happen - so sorry Mom!  This little sweetie slept like an angel for me and was as gorgeous as possible.  We had a great time shooting and I know you will love the results!
