Sneak Peek | Raleigh Senior Portraits

How do I choose just a few of these to share??  Meet Linda, Leesville class of 2010.  It was such a hot day when we shot and somehow she stayed gorgeous (while I melted into a hot mess!).  She had several looks (got to change in a tiny hot bathroom!) and looked amazing in every one.  These sessions are so much fun, thanks Linda for being fabulous!

Sneak Peek! | Raleigh Family Photographer

Oh the sneak peeks are delayed!  Not because we haven’t been shooting like crazy, but because something has to give in a busy schedule and I figured clients would rather have it be the blog then things like getting their proofs and orders!  I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family last year when little brother was just about 3 months old.  Time flew by like it always does and this session was a whole different experience!  We hiked through Umstead park and battled the bugs and the heat and dangled precariously on rocks but the end result is awesome!  Enjoy Mom!

What to Wear Wednesdays | What to Wear for Portraits - Blue and Black

I had in mind to do blue and black this week, and didn’t quite find what I was looking for but hopegully you can get the gist.  I don’t think I have used black before but it can be quite dramatic and beautiful in photos.  Of course the most important factor is your skin tone so choose what is the most flattering shade for your coloring (black may be too harsh) but you can easily mix a little bit of classic style with a pop of fun color(s).   And of course we all know black is slimming if it fits well, and that is a bonus!  These outfits come from www.oldnavy.com.
