After a long day of driving in terrible storms we pulled back into Raleigh late last night.  It was a fantastic few weeks of getting to focus on my family non stop.  We spent hours on the beach and at the pool, explored local wildlife, ate alot of seafood, had a few emergencies (our vacations aren’t complete without some injuries!) including a very scary accident with my daughter losing her footing on a pier and falling 20-something feet (I can barely type about this one but she is FINE now thank God!) and a few broken toes belonging to my hubby but in the end it was some much needed down time.  And would you believe I hardly took ANY photos?  I use my handy point and shoot for snapshots but when it comes to pulling out the big momma camera, I just rarely do it when I’m not working.  Such is the life of a most photographers though, I think!

I am slowly digging through many, many emails and voicemails; as of right now I am down to 62 remaining work emails so please understand if it takes me a bit of time to get to everyone.   I am back in the saddle again tomorrow shooting a precious baby boy and I’m excited very about it.  I am ready to get back to it!

Here’s just one fun one of my two kiddos hanging out at the pool.  We were blessed with fantastic weather (much cooler than NC was!) and managed to stay sunburn free for the entire trip to boot!
