Any time I make a new marketing piece I struggle with selecting photos. I have such a hard time narrowing down my favorites, and usually end up changing things around right up until the last minute. I’m ready to send my Premier Baby & Child Magazine design to print and I have managed to squeeze 16 favorites in there - check it out here! I will be sure to let you know when the book is available so you can grab a copy if your little darling is in there. It will be on shelves for a year!

The flu invaded out home last week, ugh.  Even though only one man was down - with one man down and one man on the other side of the country for work that leaves one man to care for the down man and the other man who seems to be starved for attention…are you following?  If you’re mom I bet you are!  In a nutshell - daddy’s gone and kiddo is sick, leaves Mommy run ragged.  I haven’t gotten too terribly far behind but the emails have suffered.  God willing I will get in the office for a few uninterrupted hours today!

I was back in the saddle yesterday with a precious newborn!  She was a party girl and did not want to miss a moment with sleeping, but after a few hours (and some white noise!) we got her settled into a deep sleep. 

I just wanted to pop in and update my schedule - February is filled completely up and there is still a bit of weekday space left in March.  Weekends are full through May.  Thank you so much for contacting me to be a part of your family for a day!

I am still recovering from lasik and really, the recovery has been a breeze!  The only "negative" has been difficulty looking at the computer for stretches of time that has me getting behind on emails in no time.  I am trying to keep up and I appreciate your patience! 

Sight wise, that is!  WOW is all I can say, what an amazing, AMAZING thing lasik is!  I am seeing better than 20/20 right now and given how bad my eyes were this is just a miracle.  I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Stonecipher at TLC in Greensboro.  The entire staff was great and there were no surprises, they walked me through every step.  If you’re considering it or have questions send me a note and I will try to get back to you - it’d a little scary but it’s so worth it!

As of now things are still settling and adjusting and I am going to try to spend a limited amount of time on the computer.  They are a little sensitive to light but all in all I feel great and so far (although it’s really early) I am seeing so well.  Thank you for all the sweet and wonderful emails and for all of your prayers!

I have tons and tons of emails waiting for me so I promise to get to them asap!

Tomorrow is the day I have been planning for what seems like forever!  I have Lasik surgery scheduled for tomorrow at 9:45 to correct my incredibly bad eyes.  I am traveling out of town to have it done (not far, just to Greensboro) so between the traveling and the healing I will be away from the office for a few days. 

I will take any prayers you’re willing to share :-)  My only real "fear" right now is that I will get there and they will tell me I am no longer a candidate!

God willing  I will be back in the office responding to emails without corrective lenses of any kind in a few days!  Thanks for understanding!
