The pumpkins are carved and the webs are hung, all that’s left is the gobs and gobs of candy that’s to come!  I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Halloween!

I have so many sessions to catch up when I am shooting this much, but I also notice a few when I am just pulling the photos down to back them up, before even looking through them all.  They jump out at me for some reason, many times because it reminds me of a sweet or funny moment from the session.  When I come back to proof the entire session I come up with other "favorites" just from a photography perspective.  I have gotten to shoot this family three times now over the last year, watching the two kids (and mom!) grow as baby number three is brought into the world.  These two are just adorable, sweet, totally lovable kids.  And if yesterday was any indication, number three is going to be just as wonderful!

12 sessions left, in the next week and a half.   Phew!  Please be patient if I don’t get back to you right away, I’m doing my best to keep my head above water!  I look forward to doing lots of this (below) in another month or so (or possibly, right here at my desk come about 1 am!) 

This little doll had a gorgeous back yard all of her own that rivaled most gardens out there.  Isn’t she precious?

The strangest thing happened on my way to my session on Wednesday.  I packed up all my newborn "stuff" and headed out on my merry way when this wet stuff started falling from the sky.  It finally occurred to me that this was RAIN!  Something we haven’t seen in AGES!  Then something even more strange happened - it’s kept raining…and kept raining, and kept raining and.kept.raining until FIVE sessions had to be rescheduled.  Now, we are in such a serious drought that I can’t possibly complain about the wet stuff but oh my goodness is next week going to be hairy.  I have more sessions most DAYS than I normally have in a WEEK. 

So, this means very little time in the office this week, I will be shooting mornings and evenings.  Don’t stress if you were one of those rescheduled or have a session scheduled for this week.  I may be running behind but what needs to get done will get done.  Every session I booked with a holiday deadline will be completed before the holidays.  And I am banking on what a local meteorologist said, "Saturday will usher in "very autumn-like weather," with drier conditions expected for at least five to seven days" - I mean, weathermen are rarely wrong, right?  :-) 

Does Raleigh have a higher than average number of good looking people in it?  I am serious, do I have some good looking clients or what?

This was a seriously fun family.  We had a blast!
