Eight weeks until Christmas!! Does that just knock the wind out of your sails like it did me? Eight weeks and this year is over and we move into 2007. I am sure I have said it before, but I really think this was the fastest year to fly by yet. It makes me a little sad when I look at just how fast my munchkins are growing up. It’s so easy to get caught up in the every day and miss the little things that are so incredibly sweet - and incredibly fleeting. This is why the investment of custom photography is so important. I am sure if my clients from this past year look at their portraits now, their babies have changed, even since then. Gosh, let me change the subject before I get all teary eyed
But on that same note I decided to leave the piles of work on my desk for a few hours and trade it for piles of leaves. I told my two we were going for a nature walk (I can’t tell them we’re going to take pictures if I want a positive reaction - COPS = Children of Photographers Syndrome) and we walked around Umstead. This darn early winter we’re having made it pretty uncomfortable and we had to cut it short, but I did manage to get a few and believe it or not, my own kids don’t get sessions very often!
